As mediation is a relatively new field there is as yet no regulation. Anyone can call themselves a "mediator". However, the Civil Mediation Council operates a scheme for the accreditation of mediation providers, though it is presently voluntary.
To achieve CMC accreditation, mediation providers have to demonstrate that they have in place procedures for ensuring that their mediators are properly trained, accredited, insured, and keep up to date, and in addition they have to meet CMC requirements as to obtaining customer feedback and the availability of a complaints procedure. We are accredited by the Civil Mediation Council. That's their attractive logo you can see above.
You can view feedback on our mediators online, and an independent rating of their performance by customer feedback is available through the National Mediator Database League Table.
In addition, all our mediators comply with the European Code of Conduct for Mediators.
In the event that you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please refer to our Complaints Procedure.
